Joren Rating
In Call of Dragons, Joren is a legendary Infantry hero. He has the Infantry, PVP, and Mobility talent trees.
Should you invest in Joren?
Joren is an extremely powerful infantry hero in Call of Dragons. It is not that he is tanky, but his ability to deal a huge amount of damage and blink onto ranged units allows him to demolish them.
So if you are a free-to-play player who focuses on infantry units, you should definitely get Joren, but you should also get Ellanir, who is designed to be paired with Joren. The only downside of Joren is that you need to know how to use him and how to position yourself properly.
- 4,400 DF diffused to 4 targets at full awakening, Lewan does 1,700 to 3. It’s not close.
- Parry mechanic: 60% chance to reduce incoming normals to zero + 200 DF counterattack per parry — punishes archers for existing Designed to blink into ranged unit balls with Berserker Charge — not a tank-on-tank infantry, a range unit executioner.
- Best pairing: Joran + Ellanir, Ellanir triggers counterattack stacking almost every second, maintaining near-permanent +60% counterattack damage.
- If you have both: max Ellanir first, harder to awaken, builds Joran’s kit from the secondary slot Both at 5-5 minimum before expertise, counterattack bonuses in skills 2 and 3 are too valuable to skip.
