Freya Rating
In Call of Dragons, Freya is a legendary cavalry hero. She has the Rally, Control, and Cavalry talent trees.
Should you invest in Freya?
Freya is one of the strongest heroes for cavalry units in Call of Dragons. What makes her so strong is her damage output, AOE debuff, and passive buffs that she provides. She is a must-have hero for every cavalry player.
So no matter if you are free-to-play or pay-to-win, you should get her. She brings a lot of value in open-field battles, and based on her skills, she will stay relevant for a long time. That means you cannot go wrong by investing in her. The only downside is that she is not designed for 1vs1 fights, but that rarely happens if you are playing smart.
- Active skill hits 4 times for 500 DF each = 2,000 DF base to the primary target.
- Each of the 4 hits has a 75% chance to deal 400 DF bonus damage to a nearby enemy legion = average 1,200 additional AoE damage.
- Total average from one active skill cast: 3,200 DF across multiple targets. That’s among the highest of any cavalry hero currently.
- Primary target also receives −10% damage dealt debuff for 5 seconds. She hits you AND makes you weaker at the same time.
- Needs enemies surrounding the target to trigger AoE and stack the +25% damage buff. In a 1v1 hunt with no nearby legions, getting even 1 stack is difficult, the skill becomes near-useless.

Freya Pairings
Pair Freya with other Cavalry heroes that will provide additional nuke damage or hero that provides some survivability for field fights.
Freya and Agnar have best synergy, designed for each other. They will deal a lot of damage but only downside is that they are slow march. Overall must have pairing in your team.
If you do not have Freya, then you can pair Freya with: Mogro and
Sibyl.
Freya Artifacts
The artifact you use depends on the hero paired with Freya. The best artifacts are Sorlands Blade, Oath of Stormpeak and Winters Edge
Freya War Pets
There are a lot of war pets in Call of Dragons, and they are hard to get on a decent level. Focus on pets that will boost skill damage or deal AOE damage.
Best Pets for Freya are:
- Bullion Beast
- Blade Manticore
