Knowing how to pair heroes in Call of Dragons is one of the most important things that you have to know. When it comes to pairing, there are several factors to consider, such as the type of units you will use, the heroes you have, whether you are doing PVP or PVE content, whether you are attacking or defending, and so on. There are numerous factors that influence which hero you will pair.
That is why we created the Call of Dragons best pairings list, so you can know which heroes have the best synergy and how to get the most out of them. If you are using the wrong hero pairing, you will be at a huge disadvantage, especially when you are fighting against players who are using the best pairings. If you are not sure who the best heroes are, you can check out the Call of Dragons Tier List, where you will find ratings for all heroes.
Keep in mind that only the talent tree of the primary hero is working. You want to make sure that you are using max-level heroes as primary with the right talent tree build.
Call of Dragons is a new game, and there will be a lot of new pairings and changes. When they introduce more heroes, we will divide this list into different categories, but for now, knowing what the best pairings are is enough.
Call of Dragons Best Pairings
|Hero||Pair 1||Pair 2||Pair 3|
Best Cavalry paring
Bakshi and Emrys are the best cavalry pairings in Call of Dragons. Together, they are able to output insane amounts of magical damage, and on top of that, they have insane amounts of rage regeneration so they can use skills more often. There are no pairings that can tank this damage.
You can use this pairing for every part of Call of Dragons like rallying cities and passes, attacking other players on the field, and even defending your city if you do not have garrison pairings available. So no matter if you are a free-to-play or pay-to-win player, you must have this pairing. Also, make sure that you are using the best Call of Dragons artifacts.
Best Magic Pairing
Velyn and Liliya are currently the best magic pairing that you can get. They are excellent for field fighting, and they are able to deal serious amounts of damage. You can use the Velyn talent tree or the Liliya talent tree, it depends on your goal but both are great.
Best Archer Pairing
Kinnara and Nico are the best archer pairings that are capable of dealing an insane amount of damage. What is great about this pairing is that they are attacking from a distance which makes them ideal for PVP and for fighting behemoths. When you are fighting against a behemoth, make sure that you are using the Nico talent tree because it is much better.
Best Infantry Pairing
Madeline and Nika are the best infantry pairing in the game. What is great about this pairing is that together they will boost the infantry unit’s health and defense, but most importantly, they will deal counter damage. So they can deal a good amount of damage and survive for a long time in open-field battles. If you are an infantry player make sure that you have this pairing.
Best Tank Pairing
When you pair Madeline and Garwood you will have the best tank pairing in Call of Dragons. Together they are incredibly strong and able to take a lot of damage. You can use any talent tree build for these pairings, both are good.
Best Flying Pairing
Atheus and Theia are an extremely strong pairing. Theia will bring shields while Atheus will increase rage generation. On top of that, they are flying units so you will have no problems moving around the map.
