Call of Dragons Update 1.0.33 “Dragonfall”

Version 1.0.33 “Dragonfall” is coming to Call of Dragons. Here are some details on the update

New Season

The dragon’s flame has been ignited once more in Season of Strife: Dragonfall! As its mournful cries echo across the land, the people of Tamaris and Belleron have formed two Camps—the Summoners and the Hunters—to battle for control over the dragon! Players who have played 3 or more Seasons will be able to register for Season of Strife: Dragonfall upon returning to their Home Realm at the end of the current Season.

Dragonfall Season Features

  • New Camp vs. Camp and Team-Up Mechanics: During the Scenario registration matchmaking phase, this Season will introduce Realm Classes and Team-Up mechanics. Registered Realms will be divided into A-, B-, C-, and D-Class Realms. A- and B-Class Realms can team up together, as can C- and D-Class Realms. Finally, teams of similar Power will be matched against each other, with one team being designated the Summoners and the other the Hunters. The two Camps will then do battle across Belleron.
  • New Map, New Opportunities: Lords from across the Realms will enter a new map based on Belleron to battle for control over the Flame Dragon.
  • New Fellowship System: 5 Lords from the same Realm can form a Fellowship. Players in a Fellowship can level up their team, share Heroes and Artifacts, and make use of powerful features such as Legion teleportation!
  • Rapid Siege Warfare: The horns of war have sounded. In the Region of Kalonsantel, Alliance Building construction and removal speed has been greatly increased, providing an entirely different combat experience.
  • New Season Policies: Army Groups are now part of the Season Policy system along with other new and unique Policies, providing more strategic depth.

New Heroes, Artifacts, War Pets, and Behemoths

New Heroes: Added the Legendary Hero Thundelyn (Magic, PvP, Control), available from the Lucky Spin and Wheel of Destiny events. Added the Legendary Hero Thaleia (Magic, Rally, Support), available from the Wheel of Destiny and Strongest Lord events.
New Artifact: Added the Legendary Artifact Thunder Elegy (Magic, PvP, Control), available from the Forge of Light and Riches of the Forest events.
New War Pet: Added the War Pet Seraphic Faedrake, which can be captured in the field.
New Behemoth: Added the new Behemoth Cosmic Roc. Said to be the favored creature of the God of Darkness, the Cosmic Roc flew faster than any other Roc to travel the depths of the stars. Work together with your allies to conquer it!

Season System Improvements

Migration Feature Improvements

Reduced the cost of migration, making it easier to find a server that suits you:
Migration cooldown reduced from 90 to 60 days.

Please note that this change will apply first to players who migrate following the update. Players who migrated before the update will have their migration cooldown period reduced by 30 days following the update. For example, if you have 89 days remaining in your migration cooldown before the update, you will have 59 days remaining following the update.

Reduced the Alliance Point cost of Migration Permits from 400,000 to 300,000.
Added another way to obtain Migration Permits. After the update, you will be able to use Gems to purchase Migration Permits in the Alliance Store. Please note that purchases with either Alliance Points or Gems will count toward the same purchase limit.

Home Realm Resource Improvements

As the Seasons progress and players grow stronger, the levels of Resource Points, Darkling Legions (including Beasts), and Darkling Forts in Home Realms will also increase. In the Pre-War phase, Home Realms will hold a regular Pet Party event each week, increasing your chances of obtaining your desired War Pet.

Augurstone Quest Difficulty Improvements

In order to improve your leveling up experience, we have reduced the difficulty of Augurstone Quests in the early Season from Season 2 onward.

Realm Management Improvements

In order to make Realm management more convenient for High Kings, the Personal Influence of players in the server “Personal Power” rankings who are above a designated Power threshold will count toward a server’s Total Influence. High Kings can check the “Personal Power” rankings and manage players to control their Realm’s Total Influence.
Players below the Power threshold (S1: 3,000,000; S2: 5,000,000; Pre-Strife: 10,000,000; SoS: 15,000,000) will not count toward a server’s Total Influence even if they are in the “Personal Power” rankings.

Merits Store Display Improvements

From Season 2 onward, a red dot notification will be displayed each time the items in the Merits Store are refreshed.

Personal Development Improvements

Artifact Reforge Feature Improvements: Improved the Artifact reforge feature. After reforging, all Arcane Dust spent to level up the Artifact will be returned to you.
