Every time you level up your hero, you will get points that you can use in the talent tree, and your hero will be able to bring more troops. How to level up heroes fast
The best way to level up your heroes in Call of Dragons is to:
- Destroy Darkling Forts
- Destroy Darkling Patrols and Creatures

- Complete events
- Gathering
Leveling up by defeating Darkling Forts
Darkling forts are one of the best ways to level up your heroes. The reason is that you will get a lot of experience, but on top of that, you will get additional rewards that are crucial for progression, like an item called a “Treaty” that is used for upgrading the Rally building.
If you are a free-to-play player, it is best to ask strong alliance members to start a rally on Darkling Fort because they have stronger heroes and you will take less damage.
Leveling up by defeating Darkling Patrols and Creatures
Dakling Patrols and creatures are also excellent ways to level up your heroes in Call of Dragons. Each time you defeat them, you will get experience and additional rewards. Now it is better to defeat Darkling forts, but if there are no members online that can help you with that, then you can go with Darkling Patrols and Creatures.
Also, make sure that you are using peacekeeping heroes and their talent trees so you can get more experience and spend fewer Command Points.
Behemoth Units
Behemoth Units are yet another excellent way to quickly level up. Each time you defeat them, you will get experience for leveling up your heroes, and on top of that, you will get arcane dust and prestige. Now, what makes behemoth units great for leveling is that, for attacking them, you do not need Command Points. So make sure that you do as many of them as you can.
Complete events and daily quests
There are a lot of different events in Call of Dragons and most of them will have experience as part of their reward. So make sure that you complete every one that is available, not only because you will get experience but also because there are other rewards that will help you with your progression.
Research your technology
Researching technology is one of the things that you have to do in order to unlock tier-5 units. Dragon Trail is a game mode in Call of Dragons that will generate different rewards each hour. The amount of rewards you will receive is determined by the number of stages you have completed. Experience for heroes is one type of reward that you will get each hour. So make sure that you try to compete in as many stages as you can because you are getting free experience each hour.
Leveling Up Heroes with Gathering
Leveling your heroes with gathering is a great method to get a good amount of hero experience on all heroes. A lot of players do not know about this method simply because they do not know what the talent trees of heroes do. When you go to the Gathering Heroes talent tree, you will see a talent called Earth Grace. There are three Earth Graces in total.
When a Legion finishes gathering resources, the Hero receives EXP equal to 1.2% of the number of resources gathered, up to a maximum of EXP per day. So your gathering hero and the secondary hero will get experience. Each hero can get one bonus from this per day. Try to find a level 6 resource node that you will farm, because it will give you all 20k experience in one go.
After you gather that node, you can replace the secondary hero and start gathering new level 6 resource nodes. Your gathering hero will not get the experience again, but the new secondary hero that you send with the gathering hero will get it.
